The Education system in The UK is divided into 04 main parts. – Primary Education, Secondary Education, Further Education and Higher Education. Children in the UK, have to legally attend primary and secondary education which runs from about 5 years old until the student is 16 years old.
The UK has a variety of higher education opportunities. With over 100 universities offering various study programs for students from the UK and around the world, there is no shortage of options. In the UK, most undergraduate degree programs take 03 years to finish. Graduate or Master’s programs are generally shorter in length and undertaken after the completion of an undergraduate program. International students will have to pay the full course fee, and the total cost will vary depending on the university.

Visa process
You can apply for a student visa in the UK, if you’re 16 years of age or above.
Student Visa, formerly known as Tier 4 Visa, will allow students enrolling for a Bachelor’s degree to stay up to 05 years, Master degree – up to 02 years and PhD students up to 03 years.

- Have enough money to support yourself and pay for your course
- Proficiency in English - ability to read, write and understand English
Documents Required for obtaining a Student Visa in the United Kingdom
- Proof of Identification : Valid Passport / Travel Document
- Photographs : 01 Passport sized coloured photograph
- Confirmation of Acceptance for Studying ( CAS ) : from University An unconditional offer letter received from a University which is a licensed student sponsor
- Proof of Financial Support : Show money should be matured at least for 28 days
- Curriculum Vitae : An updated CV / Resume CV should have no gaps more than 03 months. If there are gaps, clients must submit proof of what they were doing at that time. ( Eg: Pregnancy / Travel / Sickness etc. )
- Assessment Documentation : Academic / Professional Qualifications Proof / Certificates of all Academic and professional qualifications mentioned in the CV.
- Motivation Letter ( LM ) : Statement of Purpose ( SOP ) SOP stating your education / family / employment background and your incentive to return to your home country with 30 days of completing your studies.
- IELTS Results : IELTS or UKVI IELTS Required Test results may differ from one university to the next
- Sponsorship Letter Written consent from sponsor/sponsors if you have received sponsorship for 12 months of tuition and living costs
- Recommendation Letter : Academic Letter of recommendation from a former high school teacher or University lecturer.
- Proof of Employment : Service Letter / Work Experience Letter If applicant has resigned : Service Letter If applicant is currently working : Work Experience Letter
- Academic Technology Approval Scheme certificate ( ATAS ) Only required for studying certain subjects.
- Medical test : Mostly UK requires a tuberculosis test result
- Visa Application fee : Proof of payment Visa application fee of GBP 431 ( LKR 179,727 ) to be paid.
